WASHINGTON — In response to President Biden’s new executive order to protect access to abortion, Health Care for America Now Executive Director Margarida Jorge released the following statement:
Everyone deserves to make their own medical decisions and access the reproductive health care they need, including abortion, no matter where they live or how much money they make. This executive order is just one of the many steps we will need to restore the right to abortion and protect the civil rights of patients and doctors. The Biden administration and Congress should continue to do everything in their power to protect abortion access.
