As a 73 year old homeowner I do have health insurance because it is required in this State (a law made by Mitt Romney!) and I would lose my house through healthcare costs if I did not. Having seen Michael Moore's movie I know that my health coverage is not really going to cover everything I may need.
Also my coverage is through my ex-husband's company, and if that were not available I would literally be unable to secure coverage. There is something wrong with this picture. If I were in Canada I would be covered.
Also here we have BigPharma foisting dangerous drugs on us, now they want to give statins to little children. I hope that with a national health care system this kind of curruption would be eliminated.
Thanks for all your efforts on this issue, marylou clark
