I'm sure that we are like many folks dealing with the extremely high cost of health insurance. Both my husband and I are in our early 50's. We have worked full time for 30+ years without any break in employment. We live in a modest 3 bed/2bath house and our monthly health insurance payment is larger than our house payemnt. Although my husband has been with the same small businees employer for over 15 years they will no longer pay half of our monthly payment.(We are healthy individuals who do not smoke or have any serious health conditions.) To foot a $1000 a month health care insurance payment has had a dramatic impact on our monthly budget. However, we feel that we cannot be without health insurance. There has got to be a better solution.
