I am a 60 yr old woman in reasonably good health. I am on no medications.
I have no health ins., nor can I afford the sky high premiums of a decent ins.
The only diognosed condition I have is genetically induced very hight (373) cholesteral. I eat right, take the appropriate supplements, etc.
I am afraid of going to the doctor because if they diognose me with any serious condition I would never be able get insurance.
I am looking for a job at an office assistant but with the job market the way it is it has not been easy. I hope to be able to get a job where it will be necessary for me to work to make enough money to live and to get health insurance.
There are countries where nationalized health insurance works (like France), we could copy from what successful models.
It is a disgrace, the rich have no problem so they are not converned, the people in office have no problem they will be set for life, the illegals will get free health services and we will pay for that, and the hospitals, doctors, insurance companies & drup companies will continue to make their millions, while millions of us live under the threat of sickness, loosing all we own, and the knowledge that know one will ever help.
This country is strickly motivated by making money, and not loosing any kind of gains they make. It is a disgrace!
