I don't think my story is at all special...I am typical - which is, of course, the problem. I am a 57 year old single woman, a paralegal with a pretty good salary but no benefits. I pay for my own health insurance which means I get nothing for my $250 a month. I have no doctor visits, no tests, no treatment, no pharmacy - just catastrophic care and now I have no faith in what that would pay for if ever needed.

I cannot afford to get sick or to even have a diagnosis if I do get sick.

Like I say, my story is not horrendous, it's just standard, and scary.

I am going to donate what I can to MoveOn (but it won't be much)...best of luck and I'm completey 100% with you!

thanks for all you do, Melissa
