My brother was unable to keep up with the sharp rise in insurance costs and dropped his coverage. He also curtailed the visits to the doctor as he couldn't afford them without insurance. His diabetes got out of control and he died with a massive heart attack at age 64, a victim of the lack of affordable health insurance and medical costs. If he had been in Canada, Europe, etc., he would have had health care and would be alive today.
