I could focus my whine about the diminished quality of life I've endured the past 12 years with a sciatica-related lower back stiffness that limits my physical ability to work more productively and enjoy the sports and games I'm unable to perform in due to these phyical limitations which I CANNOT afford to have diagnosed on my own, let alone the $500 monthly premium I'd need to pay for "insurance."
But instead I'd like to point out an overlooked byproduct of the healthcare for profit monster that is eating at the fiber of a strong America - not only is the 48 million uninsured unacceptable in a country of our aggregate wealth, but what about those 260 million who are insured and pay enormous premiums while getting their claims denied by companies that "do not cover these types of expenses," or opt out of their coverage with the lame excuse of "pre-existing conditions."
It's tragic that all of Europe, Venezuela and even impoverished Cuba have better health care than we do ... unless you're in Congress. THEY can afford to have blanket health care coverage at our expense, while leaving us in the waiting room.
They conveniently forget that it's THE PEOPLE WHO SUPPORT THE NEEDS OF THE STATE - SO WHY DOESN'T THE STATE SUPPORT THE NEEDS OF ITS' PEOPLE??????
