I have VA health care and i live 250 miles one way to the VA hospital and after two lower back surgery and arthritis set in and the fact that im 77 yrs old,i cant ride the DAV van any longer,it hurts all the time and every time the van goes over a bridge, you know how rough those bridges are,so i canselled my nuro surgery and Dermatology appointment and desided that i cant go there anymore.I could get Medi-Cal but would have to drive 70 miles to the specialest so to sum it all up the only medical i have is with the outpatient clinic which draws blood every six months. When i was younger i couldnt afford to pay the medical part B and now they want 150 a month and i said why,and they said Congress fines you 10% for each year that you didnt get part B.Congress gets their grubby hands on everything that you get.I make $1,100.00 per month and they made me havr to pay $50.00 per month for co-pay. for my medacine. We had better watch Congress when we start getting solar pannels and wind mills, they have to have this money to fight unnessary wars.Sad.
