I work hard to put myself through college. All the money I earn goes toward school, and I simply don't have hundreds of dollars to drop at the doctor every time I have a health concern. Even with my school's insurance plan, the out-of-pocket rates I have to pay just aren't possible. This means that I, like millions of other under insured Americans ignore potentially serious warning signs to avoid spending money at the doctor. As a result, my health problems only complicated, and now I'm dealing with more serious issues. For me, the fight for health care won't be over until I can go to a doctor and get the care I need without having to go into debt. No one should have to choose between serious financial debt and living a healthy life. Don't make us anymore.
