I was denied Insurance coverage on several bills because my employer told the carrier that I was no longer working with the company. I was laid off after I had under gone diagnosis and scheduling to remove a cancer. The insurance company had also tried to find any pre-existing conditions related to the cancer. Which there was none. Upon my layoff my employer promised that he would continue the coverage for at least a month, which he failed to do. He has also lapsed or defaulted on the insurance coverage in the past. This has left me with a large number of medical bills that I am unable to pay. I am 54 years old and currently out of work and on unemployment that really doesn't even begin to cover my regular expenses. This has also caused my credit to collapse. I am also going to find it hard to get any futher coverage now because of my pre-existing conditions.
Thank you for your time.
