I work for a small employer and pay $1,7620 for health care and 441.60 for dental. Our company pays into our healthcare costs as well so I am unaware of the total per month to provide insurance. In the last few years our deductible has been either $2,000 or $3,000, so I have had to pay out of pocket for any tests needed. My doctor currently does not accept the insurance I have, so I have not been to see him this year. I have put off some tests because I can not afford them. My income is going to healthcare, energy costs and food with little left to pay the bills or enjoy the simple things in life. Our salary was cut 10% last year due to the mortgage crisis and yet costs are spiraling out of control. Our government is in the hands of lobbyists and have excellent healthcare coverage at the cost of every American. Angry, you bet ya...We need change for the sakehood of America and it needs to happen now. Please help us spread the word and make America strong and healthy.
