rssHealth Care Horror Stories: Melody Townsel
At Netroots Nation yesterday, we ran into Melody Townsel, who has a horrifying story of her ordeal with her health insurance company that she kindly shared with us. Watch it!
Whenever I hear a congressman or senator complaining about the possibility of a government run health care system I cringe. They and their staff are covered by the Government-Wide Service Benefit Plan,a system that all federal employees are eligible to join.It is run by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management. This plan is comprehensive and covers just about any health issue that members are faced with. Those hypocrits who don’t want the rest of us to enjoy a system such as theirs should be ashamed.

Wait a minute. You’re using some fat slob who left her aspirin where her brat could get it in order to drum up sympathy for her cause? Sorry, but you won’t get any support from me. Not when you have to use a horror story that resembles the lyrics of Alice Cooper’s song “Dead Babies”.
Little Betty ate a pound of aspirin
She got them from the shelf upon the wall
Betty’s mommy wasn’t there to save her
She didn’t even hear her baby call
(Waaah!)
Dead babies can take care of themselves
Dead babies can’t take things off the shelf
Well we didn’t want you anyway
Lalala-la, lalala-la, la la la
