If any of the following proposals will impact your health or the health of someone you care about - then we want to hear from you:
- Limiting coverage to 6 prescriptions per month and 10 doctor/clinic visits per year;
- Increasing co-pays and premiums for Medi-Cal, Healthy Families and California Children's services;
- Eliminating coverage of eyeglasses and vision care under Healthy Families;
- Cutting In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) and eliminating Adult Day Health Care;

WHY SHARE YOUR STORY?
Despite the immediate benefits and long-term improvements in our health care system as a result of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, state budget cuts to Medicaid and Healthy Families threaten to undermine this victory by lowering standards of care and coverage for millions of Californians for whom private insurance is not an option. Your stories can perfectly illustrate the critical role played by public health coverage in caring for the people who need health care most: those with high health care needs. In fact, your story may be the one that elected officials need to hear and reporters wish to highlight as an example of why the Governor's proposed cuts to health care won't result in savings and may actually increase California's health care costs.
